Christmas Pageant
The Rotary Port Augusta Christmas Pageant welcomes Christmas to Port Augusta every year, on the first Friday of December.
Rotary Port Augusta has been running the annual Christmas Pageant for almost 30 years.
Overseas Exchange
Rotary Youth Exchange is an international exchange program, where young people spend up to 12 months living and studying abroad.
Rotary Port Augusta has a strong history of supporting this program. We have supported both outgoing students from the area, as well as incoming students who spend up to 12 months in the Port Augusta area.
End Polio Now
The End Polio Now program is an ongoing focus of Rotary Clubs all around the world. By funding vaccinations, Rotary is proud to have made significant reductions to rates of Polio around the word, including eradication of the virus in most countries.
Since 1988, we've seen a worldwide reduction in polio cases of 99.9%. For more than three years, we've seen wild polio cases in only two countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
National Youth Science Forum
Rotary Australia was a founding partner of the National Youth Science Forum, a residential program for high school students interested in careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Rotary Port Augusta is proud to sponsor local students to attend this prestigious program.
Rotary Park
Our members help maintain Rotary Park as an open and accessible park for all to use in Port Augusta.
The park features free parking, a BBQ area, picnic tables, playground, a skate ramp, and public toilets.
