Over the past few years Rotary Port Augusta and the Port Augusta City Council have been in discussion regarding the location of the 'Rotary Shed'.
The Port Augusta City Council requested that we relocate to a new site, a site that was as far as Rotary Port Augusta was concerned would be able to provide a number of improvements,
More Storage Space
Easier Access
Power
Water
Ability to grow in time
A suitable site was found at Sykes Oval on Hannagan Street and over the past year plans have been drawn up material purchased and a bright shiny new shed was built. This was followed by the purchase and delivery of two 20" Containers.
The new site has been connected to the mains power.
We have now completed the move with thanks to Cyn, Jo, Ron, Craig, Merv and Steve. It was especially great to see Merv again doing his bit to help and we all look forward to seeing him at many more events in the future.
