We have to opportunity to collaborate with the Port Pirie Club on a Bunnings partnership. This is a state-wide fundraising event on Wednesday 28th October, being National First Responders Day, and Bunnings SA/NT are working with us to hold a region-wide fundraiser for the Rotary First Responder Mobile App. Bunnings will supply all meat, onion, bread, sauces, drinks, and ice for the day. All Rotary clubs need to do is cook, serve, and handle the money. 100% of BBQ sales, raffles, and donations will go directly to the First Responder Mobile App Project. Port Pirie are able to provide volunteers on the day, but have asked us to liaise with Bunnings Port Augusta. Any other available volunteers are able to pop in throughout the day. |

The Rotary Club of Port Augusta are hosting a Walk for Respect on Saturday 7th November 2026 at 11am finishing in Memorial Park. Port Pirie will be lit up purple on Friday and Saturday of that weekend. We have been invited to join the walk (t-shirts can be ordered for those without a Rotary Domestic Violence polo), we have also been invited to contact Council to see if purple lights for domestic violence are possible for that weekend locally. Contact Nathan for shirt orders (size guide available). |
